Marvel Rivals Clone Rumble

The Clone Rumble mode in the third-person hero shooter is a unique and exciting limited-time mode that officially came out with the game’s March 7 update. The Marvel Rivals mode provides a chaotic and brand-new twist to the classic gameplay by allowing players to vote for the hero they want everyone to play. In this article, we’ll dive deeper into the new Marvel Rivals mode!

Marvel Rivals Clone Rumble Mode

In this limited-time mode, both teams take part in a pre-match voting process to pick out two of the most popular heroes. Both teams vote for a particular hero, and once it’s done, players only have the option to choose one of the two heroes to play in a match. So, if your team votes for Groot and the enemy team picks Iron Man, each player can only choose one of the two heroes.

To start playing the Clone Rumble mode in Marvel Rivals, all you have to do is select the game mode selection button from the game’s main menu. Players can find it beside the Quick Match and Competitive modes. Once the two teams have chosen their heroes, the usual Capture game mode starts, which requires both teams to control a certain area present within the map.

The two teams are going to get their hands on some points as long as they can maintain control over the capture area. The first team that reaches 100 points wins once the time expires. On the other hand, if both teams are standing within the capture area as soon as the timer expires, then the game is set to go to overtime. There has to be a victor since the game can’t end in a draw.

Therefore, the game won’t end until and unless any one of the two teams has successfully captured the area. It’s worth noting that this isn’t a permanent game mode, which means that it’ll be available at certain timeframes in Marvel Rivals, which are as follows:

  • March 7, 2025, at 1 am PT to March 10, 2025, at 2 am PT
  • March 14, 2025, at 2 am PT to March 17, 2025, at 2 am PT
  • March 21, 2025, at 2 am PT to March 24, 2025, at 2 am PT

The developer hasn’t officially revealed if the last schedule is a typo since that is how it was written on the game’s official blog as well.
