Marvel Rivals – Tips & Tricks For Playing Black Panther3 min read

Black Panther in Marvel Rivals

Black Panther is another one of those exciting Duelist heroes in Marvel Rivals who can dash in and out of a battle while dealing tons of damage to his opponents. He’s part of the Avengers and is among some of the most aggressive heroes in the hero shooter. However, it takes tons of practice to perfect and execute his abilities flawlessly. Here are some tips to help you do that!

How To Play Black Panther

Black Panther’s abilities in Marvel Rivals

Learning Black Panther’s combo is absolutely necessary to be able to make any significant impact with him. When chained together, his abilities make him an absolute menace, especially when the opponents are grouped together. So, let’s go over his combo and how you need to use his abilities.

Black Panther’s biggest advantage is that he is constantly moving around when attacking, making him a difficult target. You should start your attack with either the Spear Toss or the Spinning Kick. This will apply the Vibranium mark on your opponent, which gives you some neat perks. Whenever you hit an opponent that has this mark applied with the Spirit Rend ability, it refreshes the ability, gives you bonus health, and deals extra damage because of the passive. You can also see opponents who have this mark applied through walls.

Whenever you are fighting an opponent, you should make sure you are constantly applying the Vibranium mark to them to deal the most damage. Black Panther has two abilities that apply this mark, and both of them recharge quickly. So, you’ll want to keep chaining these abilities in your combo and combining them with Spirit Rend to return your opponents, including Tanks, back to the spawn.

Black Panther has an amazing team-up with Magik called “The Wakandan Master.” When you have a Magik in your team, you unlock the ability to rewind time and return to a previous position while also gaining bonus health, depending on your current health. This allows you to quickly get out of danger if you find yourself in a sticky situation. This team-up with Magik allows Black Panther to play more aggressively without risking death. You can’t use this ability very often, though, since it has a long cooldown timer.

Lastly, Black Panther’s ultimate, called “Bast’s Descent,” might not seem very strong, but it is a game changer. It deals area damage to opponents in front of you and applies the Vibranium mark to all of them. This allows you to repeatedly spam the Spirit Rend ability on everyone, quickly eliminating them.

Conclusion

These tips and tricks can help you make the most out of Black Panther in the third-person hero shooter. It seems like Marvel Rivals is planning to introduce many more characters into the game sometime soon, including The Hood and Gambit. Therefore, make sure to enhance your gameplay before they arrive by boosting your Hero Proficiency and your ranks in the game.
