CoD Black Ops 6 S1 BattlePass: How It Works and All Awards3 min read
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has reintroduced a version of the Battle Pass that hasn’t been seen in some time and is far easier for players to comprehend. Featured in Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3, the battle sector system was replaced with a more iconic Battle Pass this year, consisting of tons of cosmetic rewards and XP boosters for fans playing this season. In this article, we’ll dive deeper into the Battle Pass system in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6!
The Battle Pass In Black Ops 6 Explained
The Black Ops 6 Battle Pass is somewhat similar to 2019’s MW and Cold War as compared to the last couple of Call of Duty titles. This year’s title utilizes a linear progression model, which is further divided into 14 pages that players are required to unlock as they continue playing Zombies, Multiplayer, and Warzone. So, no more confusing battle grid system.
What Are Battle Pass Pages?
While playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 or Warzone, fans are set to gain progress through a Battle Pass Token, which is a form of currency used to unlock items on every Battle Pass page. Once you unlock enough items on a particular page, the next page will automatically become available to you. Every reward from the game’s Battle Pass is further divided into pages.
Therefore, you’ll see fourteen sets of rewards available for you to unlock as soon as you access the Battle Pass, which is present in the lobby menu for Black Ops 6 Warzone, Multiplayer, and Zombies. You can only start from the very first page, but as you continue unlocking rewards, the next pages will become available to you, with every page containing almost 7-9 rewards.
You can unlock them through the Battle Pass Tokens that are earned by playing the game. Players can unlock all of the rewards on every page except for the one on the right-most side. This particular item is only claimed when players have unlocked each reward featured on that page. It takes seven Battle Pass Tokens for you to claim all the rewards on a page.
How To Unlock Rewards?
Once players initially view the Battle Pass, it’ll automatically start to redeem their tokens. It’s highly recommended that you disable the automatic token spending, which can be done from the Battle Pass menu. This allows you to spend the tokens on rewards that you actually wish to get. When it comes to claiming rewards, click on a reward on a page you have already unlocked.
It’ll unlock that specific item, which can be used in every game type. On top of this, getting your hands on a weapon blueprint also means that the weapon will become permanently unlocked. Therefore, it’s recommended that you unlock weapon blueprints at the start to expand your arsenal while you’re working on prestige. Make sure to grab those XB boosters as well!
