The latest update in Forza Horizon 5 introduces an exciting new multiplayer experience: the Hide and Seek Mode. This exciting mode will be made available on September 10 as part of Series 38 Update.
Everything you need to know about this upcoming mode can be found below.
How the Hide and Seek Mode Works
The Hide and Seek Mode in Forza Horizon 5 is a six-player event. One player takes on the role of the Hider, while five others become Seekers. The objective of the Hider is to evade detection and reach a designated safe zone. Seekers, on the other hand, must locate and tag the Hider before time runs out.
Two Rounds of Play
The game unfolds in two distinct rounds:
- Survival Round (4 minutes): The Hider must stay hidden from the Seekers for the duration of four minutes. The Seekers must fill up their detection meter by staying close to the Hider, which helps them track the Hider’s location.
- Escape Round (4 minutes): Once the survival round ends, the Hider must travel from point A to point B (the End Zone) without being detected by the Seekers. The Hider must navigate across the map in these four minutes and avoid the Seekers who can still detect their location.
Hide and Seek Mode Features
Vehicle Selection
The Hider has access to standard traffic vehicles like the Jeep Wrangler or Ford Bronco to blend in with AI traffic. All Hider vehicles are stock versions with default paint jobs, allowing the Hider to disappear into the background if they drive carefully.
Seekers, however, use high-performance cars such as the BMW M4 GTS or Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. These faster vehicles help them cover ground quickly and catch up with the Hider.
Power-Ups
Both the Hider and Seekers have access to power-ups that further add more detailing to the mode:
- Ping Ability (Seeker): Seekers can use the ping ability to reveal the Hider’s exact location for 20 seconds.
- Chase Breaker (Hider): The Hider can use the chase breaker to disable the Seekers’ mini-maps temporarily. This power-up also slows down the Seekers, giving the Hider a crucial window to escape or reposition.
If you missed out on Series 37 cars, don’t worry! You can still get them easily now and enjoy the new vehicles you may have missed.
By purchasing a Forza Horizon 5 Modded Account from us, you’ll receive 900 million credits, 3x of all Series 37 cars, and every rare car not available in the autoshow. You’ll also get highly desirable cars like the Koenigsegg Jesko and Bugatti Chiron at cheap rates.
Game Area and Maps
The mode is primarily set in Guanajuato, a city with narrow streets and heavy traffic, providing an ideal environment for hiding. This maze-like city makes it difficult to find the hider. Also, the abundance of traffic offers numerous opportunities for the Hider to blend in.
It’s not clear yet if the entire map will be available for the Hide and Seek Mode, but Guanajuato certainly plays a prominent role in this thrilling game mode.
Badges and Achievements
The Hide and Seek Mode introduces a set of accolades and achievements for players to unlock. These accolades will reward players based on their performance and milestones reached within the game mode, such as:
- Reaching certain levels, with a maximum level of 1,000.
- Winning matches as a Hider without being detected.
- Completing matches within specific time limits as Seekers.
Achievements for this mode will also become available in October, but any progress made in September will count toward those achievements once they are released.
Additional Details
The Hide and Seek Mode is free for all Forza Horizon 5 players and will be available in the Series 38 update on September 10. However, since it’s a multiplayer mode, you’ll need at least an Xbox Game Pass Core subscription to participate.
