Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded: Everything You Need To Know4 min read
After an action-packed launch season, the Black Ops 6 community is ready for more. Season 01 Reloaded promises to deliver an arsenal of exciting new content, including fresh maps, powerful weapons, and a holiday twist on classic modes. Read on to discover everything you need to know about the Season 01 Reloaded update and the epic new content awaiting you in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
Call of Duty Warzone in Season 1 Reloaded
Although Black Ops 6 multiplayer modes already had ranked play, Season 1 Reloaded is introducing competitive rewards to Warzone.
After Thursday’s update, players with 30 total top 15 Battle Royale placements and top 6 Resurgence placements can access ranked modes.
Final placements and eliminations will determine how many skill rating points you gain or lose. This will eliminate opponents rated higher than you and earn you more SR points while removing opponents in lower ranks, which will earn you fewer SR points.
Warzone will also see the reintroduction of the limited-time “CODMAS” modes. During Area 99’s Holiday Rush, players can get higher-tier loot early in the game as they fight adversaries inside tighter gas circle circles. Santa Claus also joins the zombies in Slay Ride Resurgence on Urzikstan after taking control of the train on the map.
Black Ops 6 in Season 1 Reloaded
To commemorate CODMAS this December, Season 1 Reloaded includes additional multiplayer maps, weapons, and time-limited modes in addition to a new zombies map. The High Rollers Black Ops 6 campaign mission inspired the new multiplayer map Multiplayer Racket.
Three maps will be added to the core pool in the Season 1 Reloaded release.
- Hacienda is a medium-sized vineyard map remastered from Black Ops 4.
- Racket is a brand-new little map that takes place in a Lutazzi syndicate bank vault.
- A new holiday version of Nuketown will also scatter snow, festive trees, and lights across the battlefield.
You will see a whole new range of weapons, such as the Cleaver melee weapon, the Maelstrom shotgun, and the AMR Mod 4 sniper rifle. Three-round burst modification kits are also being delivered for the Kompakt 92 SMG and XM4 assault rifles. This will significantly alter how these weapons can be used.
The new High Roller wildcard enables players to select four perks for their loadout rather than the customary three. Additionally, the new Shrapnel Radar perk highlights targets wounded by tactical and lethal grenades or field upgrades on the minimap.
New Zombies Mode
The midseason update of Black Ops 6 introduces Citadelle des Morts. This thrilling new Zombies map picks up where players left off after defeating Patient 13 in the Terminus Easter egg.
A Dangerous Mission in Avalon
Operators journey to the European principality of Avalon to meet the famed Gabriel Krafft at an ancient castle. However, they discover the rival French Syndicate has captured Krafft. Players must fight through the castle to rescue Krafft and uncover his vital knowledge while battling crime rings and an undead invasion.
Exciting New Features
The update brings plenty of fresh content, including:
- Wonder Weapon: The Bastard Sword, which can be upgraded into four elemental forms—fire, lightning, aether, and light—similar to the Origins staves or Der Eisendrache bows.
- New Enemy: The terrifying Doppelghast charges through hordes and fires spines at unlucky players.
- Perk-a-Cola: Vulture Aid, returning from Black Ops 2, helps players stay stocked with ammo and salvage.
- Field Upgrade: Tesla Storm stuns nearby enemies when your team sticks together.
- Ammo Mod: Light Mend, a light-elemental damage boost that creates glyphs to heal nearby allies.
- Gobblegums: New options like Power Keg, Time Out, and the festive Holiday Cheer. You can earn these in the limited-time Jingle Hells mode.
Players can research and upgrade Perk-a-Colas, field improvements, and ammo mods with new major and minor augments for added power.
New Scorestreak and Events
The Hand Cannon, a multiplayer scorestreak, is now available in Zombies mode. Players who participated in the Hit List Season 1 Event will get it immediately. Others can unlock it via The Armory.
During the Gobblegum Mania event, the community can unlock additional Gobblegums, adding even more fun to the gameplay.
Balanced Gameplay Changes
Major adjustments are being made to make Zombies mode more enjoyable:
- Reduced Mangler Spawns: Fewer Manglers will appear at once, and their arm cannon health will be lowered.
- Damage Tweaks: Regular zombie damage scales higher in late rounds (150–400), while parasite damage is reduced in mid-rounds (31–91).
With these updates, the new Season 1 update promises to deliver a thrilling and action-packed experience. You will discover new ways to survive the undead apocalypse while exploring the dark secrets of Avalon’s haunted castle.
