To come out on top in Valorant, it’s always essential to properly strategize the game and think outside the box. For this reason, nearly all professional teams feature an IGL, also known as shotcallers. These are usually players who make the most crucial decisions in any match, such as rotations, positions, etc. In this article, we’ll discuss how you can use Shotcall in Valorant!

Valorant Shotcall Esports Prediction Feature On Twitch

Valorant recently brought out the big guns by launching a PC-only viewer-facing Twitch extension for the VCT Americas broadcasts. This feature is called Shotcall, and allows fans to predict every aspect of a game, including the number of kills a specific player is set to get in a round or who will get the entry frag, and more. Accurate predictions will get you freebies.

With every correct call, players will be climbing up the leaderboards. Not only this, but reaching a certain point milestone will also get them more in-game rewards that have a lot more value in the game. This includes Player Cards, Kingdom Credits, etc. Once you reach the threshold point or a position required in the leaderboard, you’ll get the specific rewards in your account.

It took 24 hours for the rewards to reach their account. The Shotcall feature came out with the first live test on August 8, amidst the VCT Americas broadcast, alongside more test sessions that took place on August 15, 22, and 29. The Twitch Beta testers received at least one reward from the four “Shotcall Fridays.” Unfortunately, none was the Champions 2025 Skin Bundle.

How To Activate & Predict via Shotcall?

You can also boost your placement matches in Valorant if you want to skip the grind and directly jump into competitive with a high rank. For now, you can activate the Shotcall feature on Twitch by following the steps mentioned below:

  1. Firstly, jump into one of the three official VCT Americas Stage 2 Twitch channels in the middle of a live match.
  2. Once that’s done, keep your cursor on top of the video players and then select the red ball icon in order to log in with your Riot Games ID. It’s important to note that this step is essential, even if a player has already linked their account to the game for Twitch Drops.
  3. Doing so will automatically activate your Shotcall.

Once you’ve activated Shotcall on Twitch, you’ll see a prediction prompt show up on the screen before a round starts. It’ll offer a small window for you to predict several different outcomes in the game. You need to choose your preferred option. If you don’t see any prompts appear after everything is set up, you should try checking the Twitch extension control icon and setting the Shotcall feature to “Visible.” Also, enable the audio option from the settings tab.

Conclusion

That’s all there is to know about the Shotcall feature in Valorant and how to use it. It’s an impressive feature that develops a player’s interest in Esports. However, if you simply want to play the game, make sure to skip the grind and boost your ranked wins to increase RR quickly!
