BO7 Warzone Update Sees Updated Verdansk With New POIs3 min read

BO7 Verdansk

COD Next helped quench the thirst of Call of Duty fans by revealing a bunch of exciting details about Black Ops 7. One key piece of information was about Warzone’s upcoming Verdansk map, which is set to introduce two new points of interest. This map is an iconic landmark for the franchise, featuring epic battles. Here’s everything you need to know about the map in BO7!

New Verdansk POIs In Black Ops 7 Warzone

Black Ops 7 is shaping up to be another epic launch from the Call of Duty franchise. It will introduce many new modes and maps, including a new 6v6 Overload Mode. BO7 Season 1 is set to feature Signal Station, a new POI in Verdansk, and Factory (returning POI). The former is designed to reinvent the map’s northern side, whereas the latter will bring back old memories.

During the COD Next event, the developers described Signal Station as “modern, clean, eye-popping.” This POI towers over the treeline and contains huge radar domes that can be seen from nearly any point on the map. Once you’re inside, you’ll come across winding control corridors and server rooms that are perfect for anyone who enjoys close-quarter combat.

Tactical Heat Map

The main feature is Signal Station’s Tactical Heat Map, which was revealed live during the broadcast. According to the developers, it offers a glimpse into the player density in Verdansk and also “shows threat levels all around you.” If you’re fond of aggressive gameplay, grab your Monster Energy rewards and start hunting those red zones!

Factory

On the other hand, Factory has a familiar feel, even though it has been improved quite a lot. It was last seen in 1984’s Verdansk, and veterans quickly recognised its layout. During the event, High Moon Studios claimed that “we purposefully kept the layout the same.” However, they did enhance lighting, clearer visuals, and numbered rooftops to make callouts much easier.

The video showed a glimpse of towering missiles hanging from cranes and massive industrial floors. These would be ideal for mid-range gunfights. The devs were proud of successfully balancing a beloved return while also giving it a new feel. The Signal Station and Factory combo was deliberate, with the former pulling players with new features and the latter with nostalgia.

Warzone Season 1 is scheduled to come out alongside Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 1, 2025. You’ll first see the beta come out some time before the official launch. In the meantime, you can boost your camos in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from the MitchCactus website. If you want to get your hands on the Abyss Camo, you can also do that from the same website.

Conclusion

That’s all there is to know about all the Verdansk map changes coming in Warzone Season 1. The devs will continue to reveal more information about Black Ops 7 as we get closer to the launch date, especially with the beta phase coming out soon. For now, all we have to do is sit back and wait for the Call of Duty title to blow us away with its impressive features!
