How Prestige Works in Black Ops 7
In Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, prestige returns, adding new depth and growth to the standard system in all game types. Players must first reach level 55 in order to move through the ten prestige tiers.
When you reach level 55, you can choose to “Prestige,” which gives you a new prestige icon and important benefits like a Permanent Unlock Token, but it also lowers your account rank back to level 1.
All other players can see all of the ten Prestiges’ distinct icons, which serve to visually represent your dedication and progress. Power up your BO7 sessions with Monster Energy in-game perks! Redeem codes from special cans to unlock rare operator skins, exclusive blueprints, and bonus XP.
You are not required to work for it again after your restart, since you may use the Permanent Unlock Token you get with your prestige to fully unlock any item of your choosing.
You can move past level 55 and reach level 1,000 by earning Max Prestige after finishing all ten Prestige levels. At certain point levels (such as level 100, 200, etc.), you can earn new icons, titles, cosmetic awards, and milestone perks along this master track.
The fact that XP can be used across multiplayer, zombie, and even campaign modes is an important change in Black Ops 7.

Completing the Campaign, including the post-story ‘Endgame’ PvE, now grants account-level XP, giving more flexibility in your grind.
Weapon Prestige: A Second Layer of Progression
Black Ops 7 also brings back Weapon Prestige. This system allows each gun to be prestiged independently. It works alongside the account-level Prestige system. Players can now progress both their weapons and account separately.”
When a weapon hits its maximum level (level 50), you can restart the leveling process to get fresh rewards. When you prestige a weapon, you get an exclusive camo or attachment.
You can level up any weapon to level 250. Reaching level 250 puts the weapon in the ‘Weapon Prestige Master’ tier. Each weapon can support two Weapon Prestiges before this.”
After completing the two prestiges, you continue leveling the weapon. At the master level, you may unlock exclusive rewards. These rewards include final universal camos and special attachments. You can also earn charms related to that specific weapon.
Additionally, your camo progress and other unlocks remain unchanged when you prestigate a weapon, even though it resets its attachments. Sip your way to style with the Muller Milk BO7 skin: grab specially marked bottles for codes that unlock a sleek operator outfit, and 15‑minute Double XP boosts.
Reward Structure & Motivation
Why, really, Prestige? The goal of the system is to reward players for their commitment. When you prestige, you can get Operator skins. You can also unlock weapon blueprints. Cosmetic items with a prestige theme are included, too. Additionally, you receive Permanent Unlock Tokens.
The visual flair enhances as you go to Prestige Master (level 1,000). At this level, you unlock new symbols and titles. You can even show off your grind with unique color tiers.”
