After Season 3.5 of Marvel Rivals, all eyes were on Marvel Rivals Season 4. The update released on September 12, 2025, right after the Chrono-Storm bonus event ends. Fans expected new heroes and a fresh map as well as a unique theme that could shake up the game’s balance. Leaks have pointed toward Daredevil, Deadpool, and Angela as possible additions. Let’s see what this new season unfolded.
New Heroes Featured in Marvel Rivals Season 4
In Season 4 Marvel Rivals, you get to see:
- Voice lines
- Gallery cards
- Some hidden lore
All speculations were about who’s about to join the hero roster. And, he is no other than the strongest candidate Daredevil (Matt Murdock). From these leaks, you can witness a figure with small horns. It clearly resembles that of Daredevil’s helmet. Leaked ability names like “Spherical Clipping” point to powers tied to his enhanced senses, allowing him to detect enemy outlines.
The second character is Angela, the long-lost sister of Thor and Loki. In the same Gallery Card lore, references to Hela’s kin strongly confirmed her arrival. Angela’s flexibility also makes her interesting. She was introduced as a Duelist or as a Vanguard but it could also change, depending on how the devs build her kit.
Deadpool also landed with multiple characters, from Wolverine to Venom. NetEase holded him for later. Since Blade and Punisher already brought heavy Duelist power, the devs may want balance by focusing on other roles first.
Season 4 Theme and K’un-Lun Connection
Marvel Rivals Season 4 was themed around K’un-Lun. It’s a mystical city tied to Iron Fist and Shou-Lao. All these themes suggest the connection to the Daredevil’s history with The Hand. So this inclusion makes Daredevil’s appearance more sense.
It also mentioned Shou-Lao falling into slumber, forcing heroes to defend K’un-Lun in a desperate battle. This martial arts and mysticism theme gave Season 4 a distinct atmosphere compared to previous updates.
New Map and Game Mode

Alongside the K’un-Lun theme, a new map was expected. There was a special Convoy variant set around K’un-Lun along with new game mode called Infinity Crisis, that functioned as a Capture the Flag experience on a map named Maveth.
Hydra and Symbiote elements that are mixed into the design as well.
