How To Unlock Black Ops 6 Ranked Play?

Players need 50 wins in matchmade multiplayer games to unlock Ranked Play in BO6. If you want to check how many wins you have, go to the game’s menu and search for the “Ranked Play” option at the bottom of your screen. If you see a progress bar below the button, you need to get a few more wins to play Ranked, but if there isn’t anything, you’re free to unlock.

How Does Black Ops 6 Ranked Play Work?

Ranked Play is basically considered the entryway into competitive Call of Duty, where players can test their skills against others from all platforms to see how good they are. Here are some other things one should keep in mind:

  • Players are set to use the same maps, weapon restrictions, settings, and modes as the CoD League. Make sure to check out the competitive settings since some of your beloved weapons and perks may be restricted.
  • Every player is set to kick off the mode in Bronze and continue progressing through Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent, and Top 250 simply through earning Skill Rating (SR). This is gained after every win and its amount varies based on how much farther the player is from getting their projected rank, their match performance, and the margin of victory. You can lose SR by losing, so make sure to win!
  • Map & Mode Veto is fresh in Black Ops 6, in which teams can vote to veto one of the three modes and map combinations in the lobby. Once the two teams have made their veto picks, the option left is set to be chosen. However, if both teams veto the same option, the mode and map combinations are randomly chosen out of the two options.
  • Teams now have the option to unanimously conclude a match through the Options menu at the following points:
    • Hardpoint – the winning team gets to 100 points
    • Control – following the first round
    • Search & Destroy – following the third round
  • Parties with four members can easily play together despite their individual ranks but it is mainly based on the highest rank within the party.
  • Ranks might be reset in every new season depending on a player’s placement in the last season.
  • Players can’t lose SR following their first loss of the day.

That’s all there is to know about Ranked Play in Black Ops 6. If you want to practice before jumping in, you can enter Bot Lobbies by heading to the MitchCactus website. Players can also get Call of Duty Accounts for sale from the same website.
