Black Ops 6 Zombies Grief Mode & What It Is3 min read

Grief Mode

The Zombies mode has always pitted players against hordes of undead creatures, but that was until the devs introduced Grief mode. It helps to shake things up a bit by making the mode a lot more competitive by forcing you to go up against another team to see who survives the longest. It is the survival of the fittest in this mode. Here’s everything to know about the Grief mode!

Black Ops 6 Zombies Grief Mode

While Black Ops 6 Zombies didn’t receive a brand-new map in the upcoming season, it is bringing back something far more impressive, i.e., Grief. Players last saw this mode in 2012’s Black Ops 2, and they’re nothing but excited to see it arrive again. It’s a 4v4 competitive mode, in which your team needs to survive and outlast the enemy team to emerge victorious.

Even though you won’t be able to damage the opposing team, you can easily come in their way and become a hindrance by using your body to block them. You can also slow them down by shooting them or striking them with melee weapons. Players can also capture their zones to give some debuffs. The first team that takes down all four members of the opposing team wins.

If you’re the last one alive on the other team, then you shouldn’t give up hope just yet because your team can respawn every three rounds. If you want to look good while downing your foes, then you can easily unlock the BO6 Zombies Nebula Camo or the COD BO6 Dark Matter Camo from the popular MitchCactus website. It’ll also help enhance your gameplay experience!

Capture Zones in Grief Mode

Capture zones cycle fairly regularly in the match, so you can Grief the other team when you hop in and land your kills. This debuffs the other team. While it affects both of the teams if neither team secures the capture zone, then it effects both of those teams; it’s not one that can be ignored. There are multiple types:

Ammo Drain: Ammunition is drained from any owned Ammo reserves while Grief is active for weapons held in the away position.

Frozen: When activated, it slows down the movement of enemies and encases them in ice and frost.

Weapon Carousel: Causes opposing players’ weapons to randomly change every few seconds.

Weapon Nerf: This effect deals reduced damage to zombie enemies.

Zombie Ambush: Summons a zombie Elite that focuses all of its elimination power on the opposing team until either the team or the Elite itself is dead. However, there is also a timer, so you can also wait it out.

Be careful of these capture zones and make sure you use them strategically against your enemies. On the other hand, you can get a modded account for Black Ops 6, as it is not cheating, but there are some rules involved!

Conclusion

That’s all there is to know about the Grief Mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies. If you’re looking for ways to get the most out of the game once Season 4 launches, there is a way to get everything in it without grinding for hours. In the meantime, let’s wait for Grief to launch and get new Black Ops 6 accounts!
