On November 5, 2025, the third year of updates for the open-world racer The Crew Motorfest will get started with the release of Season 8. There are 21 new automobiles, two major playlists (one readily available now, the second scheduled for January 2026), and an extensive list of long-requested customization and quality-of-life improvements included in this update.
New playlists
The new “Street Riders” playlist, which will be released right away, is the highlight of Season 8. Players drive a BMW M3 E46, join the racing gang “Monkey’s Kitchen,” and participate in free-race events to encourage creative route-taking without the use of GPS or markers.
The playlist includes eight main events, twenty-five challenges, six feats, and two photo opportunities. Completing it rewards players with the BMW M2. The developers released a second BMW-themed playlist on January 7, 2026. It includes live-action video content and covers the history of BMW Motorsport through seven events.
21 new cars
Season 8 introduces 21 new vehicles to the game’s lineup. These include recent icons like the BMW M2 CS 2025 (which makes its video game debut), classics like the BMW 3.0 CSL 1975, and others like the Zenvo Aurora Agil 2026, Pagani Imola 2021, and VW Golf GTI 1982.
The game makes some vehicles available in the in-game store on specific dates, while linking others to the Year 3 Pass. Unlock the hidden rides before anyone else: Dive into the full Season 8 car list now!
Customization & features
The updated version of customization was certainly influenced by player feedback. Season 8 introduces significant enhancements to customization. Players can also customize rim materials, choosing from over 40 branded options from makers like BBS Motorsport, HRE, and OZ Racing. These rims are available across Street, Drift, and Hypercar vehicle classes.
The game now lets players customize their vehicle stance. This includes adjusting ride height and angle for both performance and visual style. Even luxury manufacturers like Ferrari now allow players to use aftermarket rims in the game.
Additionally, major changes consist of:
- A Pass from a friend allowing three friends to play the game for free and without a time limit. Want the ultimate garage? Discover every vehicle drop coming in 2025 and stay ahead of the pack!
- Making creating teams easier, there are new Grand Races with rankings and a “Looking for Crew” function.

Quality-of-life & fixes
Season 8 improves the experience rather than merely adding new material. The patch notes include UI improvements and fixes for challenge and feat-related bugs.
They also feature handling adjustments for specific vehicles, such as Alfa Romeo Street Tier 2 cars. Additional updates cover audio, interface stability, world textures, and other general improvements.
These ensure better overall stability, more consistent event behavior, and smoother gaming. The Crew Motorfest received a major revamp with Season 8. This update introduced completely new content for players to explore. It also added deeper and more advanced customization options for cars.
The developers added several new gameplay features to enhance the overall experience. One standout addition is the Friend Pass, which allows players to bring others into the game for free. Together, these changes aim to boost the player base and encourage long-term engagement.
