Marvel Rivals Free Skins & How To Get Them (August 2025)3 min read

Similar to Overwatch and other online first-person shooters, Marvel Rivals is also free-to-play. It mostly makes money from various in-game purchases instead of charging players an entry fee. This means that you’ll have to pay for most of the rewards or costumes featured in the Battle Pass, but there are some skins available for free. This article discusses how you can get them!
Marvel Rivals Free Skins
Marvel Rivals currently contains a total of twelve free skins that players can claim in the shooter. It also includes the latest limited-time midseason Twitch Drops that were recently added to the game. There’s also a free Phoenix skin available for you to claim, so make sure to master the character to make the most of it! The following is a list of the different free skins in the shooter.

If you want to get your hands on more Star-Lord skins, you can skip the grind and unlock the Jovial Star skin from the MitchCactus website. You can also get the hero proficiency boost for the same character or some other one that you want.
Battle Pass
Most of the skins mentioned above are only available for a limited time except for the ones featured in the Battle Pass. However, even those are only for the ones who have purchased the Luxury Tier, so technically they aren’t really free. It’s worth noting that they do not come with an expiration date so you can unlock them whenever you want. There are a couple of ways for players to get free skins, with the two most common ones being the Battle Pass or Heroic Achievements in the game.
Although most skins in the Pass are only tied to the Luxury tier, there are some that can be taken by anyone from the free tier. However, you will need Chrono Tokens to unlock them. In the meantime, players can get Storm and Star-Lord by getting some Heroic Achievement points. This can be done by completing various challenges in Marvel Rivals.
Conclusion
That’s all there is to know about all of the free skins featured in Marvel Rivals Season 3. While Blade didn’t receive a free skin, you should master the character and wait until she finally does. Meanwhile, feel free to jump into the game and unlock all of the free skins!
