Fortnite Death Star Sabotage Event Release Date

The Star Wars-themed season added a bunch of exciting characters to the game, including General Grievous and Death Jar Jar. If you’re a fan of the game and the franchise, then you would have had a wild ride exploring the map and playing as your beloved character. However, it’s now time to unwind because the entire season was building up to the major live event.

The Death Star Sabotage live event will kick off on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM BST. Epic Games hasn’t yet confirmed how long it will last, but they said that it’ll be the “season-ending live event.” Therefore, you can expect to experience some downtime before the next season launches soon after the event ends.

Until that happens, you can quickly jump into the game and complete all of the Han Solo Found Quests in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3. As for the event, you’ll see it as a tile on Discover’s top row in the game two hours before it goes live, i.e., at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST. It’s best that you load in and enter as soon as you can to make sure that you reserve your spot there.

Once it goes live, players can enter the playlist so that they can pilot a TIE fighter or an X-wing while they’re waiting. With the countdown reaching zero, everyone will make their way to the Death Star. With this season allowing players to talk to Darth Vader through the game’s latest AI update, one can only imagine what exciting things the live event has in store for them.

What might the event feature?

Players have been seeing the Death Star floating on top of the map throughout the season. It’s now completely charged and prepared to take down the Fortnite island, and it’s up to the players to try their best to stop it from happening. Not much has been revealed about the event besides this, but it has been confirmed that players will be going up to the Death Star to participate in it.

Many leaks have also claimed that you’ll be boarding the Death Star since it’s a part of the attack, which might lead you to go up against Emperor Palpatine.
