Black Ops 6 Zombies fans have been constantly getting fresh content ever since the game’s launch. Following its arrival with two exciting maps, players then received Citadelle des Morts and The Tomb in Season 1 and Season 2. It seems like the devs don’t plan on slowing down because they recently revealed The Mansion map for Black Ops 6 zombies! Here is some exciting information on the map.
The Mansion Release Date
We expect Treyarch to release The Mansion map on April 3, 2025, as a part of Black Ops 6 Season 3. While we don’t have any official news from Treyarch yet, multiple leaks support this theory. Many people claim that the map’s release will follow the launch schedule we have seen in the past. Treyarch initially planned to release this update on March 20 but couldn’t meet that deadline.
They delayed the update by an entire fortnight because the developers wanted to continue polishing up Verdansk, which they plan to release around the same time. From the looks of it, The Mansion is about to keep players hooked with its unique environment and scary vibes. In their official X post, Treyarch shared a picture with a unique caption to attract BO6 fans.

The Mansion Map Story & Setting
Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the upcoming map’s story, but we do know from the previous cinematics that it’s Edward Richtofen’s house. He is the creator behind the powerful Wunderwaffe Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Treyarch mentioned this character by name in the first teaser image they shared for The Mansion. Not only this, but we also saw Zombies chasing Edward through the building at the beginning of Liberty Falls. In The Tomb’s ending, Treyarch revealed that players should now fuse the Artifact they collected at the end of that Easter Egg with something found only in The Mansion map. It might take players to the underground laboratory area that was previously shown by the devs.

Despite having only one teaser, it’s clear that this map’s setting is inside Liberty Falls. The map was initially featured in the opening cinematic, but we weren’t sure what role it might play in the ongoing story at this point. Later, in the last cutscene featured in The Tomb’s Easter egg, Treyarch officially confirmed that The Mansion was located in the same place as the S.A.M AI.
