Black Ops 6 is making sure to give its players an amazing time by introducing a bunch of collabs in the past couple of weeks. Before Beavis and Butt-Head dived into the game, fans saw the arrival of Ana de Armas’ Ballerina in Season 4. However, it seems like the devs aren’t ready to slow down, especially since they just confirmed the CODtoons event. Here are the details!
CODtoons Event Release Date
The CODtoons event will launch on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The developers have also confirmed this date in the Events tab. It’s the same date when the King of the Dead and the Beavis and Butt-Head events will end, so the game will instantly replace them with another one. The CODtoons event will be a massive part of the popular American Dad collaboration.
Unfortunately, the devs have not yet confirmed the event’s end date, so we don’t know how long it will be live in the game. However, we expect that it’ll be around for at least a week or two. Then, it will be completely wrapped up before Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 5 come out on August 7. So, skip the grind and unlock the exclusive BO6 Dark Matter Camo to stand out in the game.
What’s The CODtoons Event?
The upcoming event will introduce multiple challenges to the game that players should complete in order to get their hands on exciting rewards. It’ll feature certain objectives that will unlock a special prize. The CODtoons event is entirely different from all of the latest events, which usually ask players to either earn XP or pick up items from downed opponents.
It’s unique in such a way that every reward in the game links to three unique challenges, which span Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzones. However, the exciting part is that players must only tick off one to get their prize. Not only this, but you’ll also be able to swap between modes. So, boost your BO6 account and jump into the game to make the most of the event!
In addition to this, the event will also feature a Mastery reward, which players can only unlock once they receive the rest of the rewards. Therefore, you should start the grind for all of them since it’ll be worth it. Not many rewards have been confirmed so far for CODtoons, and the ones that have been confirmed include the TR2 QB Auto Conversion.
However, a leaker named “realityuk_” has been able to get the entire list of prizes and their associated challenges in the game files. So, you might get the Toon In Spray for getting 15 kills with Frag or Semtex Grenades in Multiplayer, extracting 150,000 total Essence when Exfilling in Zombies, and completing a Search and Destroy Contract 10 times in Warzone.
