Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 Star Destroyer & How To Fly It3 min read

Both the Fortnite and Star Wars worlds have officially become one, owing to the latest update that allowed the latter to take over the battle royale. Players got to see an entire map filled with familiar and popular POIs, and also explored a whole Battle Pass full of exciting characters. The Galactic Battle season also introduced a Star Destroyer for players to pilot. Here’s how to do so!
Star Destroyer In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
With the launch of the 35.20 update, a rift began spawning at any random location in each match, which carries players to the Star Destroyer. Unfortunately, the exact location of this portal cannot be predicted, but you can see it marked on the in-game map once the second circle appears. Once the portal appears in a match, players race to be the first ones to go through it.
In case no one ends up getting to the rift in time, it ends up disappearing eventually once the fourth circle appears and becomes unavailable for the remainder of the game. If you’re fortunate enough and reach first, you will end up heading to the control room of the Star Destroyer. Once you’re here, you can fly the ship over the map and use its “turbolaser” to deal massive damage.
Using The Star Destroyer
It can also deal almost 120 damage with each shot if you’re flying the Star Destroyer all alone. On the other hand, it deals 72, 54, and 36 damage in Duos, Trios, and Squads, respectively. Players only get 90 seconds in the driver’s seat, which is more than enough time to get their hands on a huge number of kills and make sure that they have less competition in the lobby.
Once your time is up, you’ll head back to the map and on the ground like usual. As soon as you’re back, make sure to get your hands on the Mace Windu skin and get his lightsaber as well while you’re at it. You can also look around and get some other lightsabers with different force abilities in Chapter 6 Season 3, including the purple, blue, and red ones.
If you’re still in the ship and controlling it, then you should keep in mind that you are entirely invulnerable to any and all oncoming damage. On the other hand, if there’s no one around you can shoot, you can use the scanner that pings the location of almost 25 opponents at the same time. The only disadvantage is that you won’t be able to fly around the map.
Not only this, but you’re also limited to a small radius. If you don’t get the Star Destroyer and are just one of the players hiding from it, your best bet would be to run out of its sight and radius. You can also enhance your gameplay experience by getting cheap V-Bucks from the MitchCactus website.
Conclusion
That’s all there is to know about the Star Destroyer in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 and how you can fly it. With the new season launching on June 7, you only have a couple of days to make the most of this exciting opportunity and pilot the vehicle!
