COD Black Ops 6 Campaign: First Three Safe House Puzzles3 min read
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 features an essential aspect of the game, i.e., The Rook, a Safe House that can be customized and allows players to prepare for missions. It initially operated as a KGB Black Site, but now it’s being used as the base of operations by Wood and his gang for the rest of the Black Ops 6 campaign. It consists of plenty of mysterious secrets and puzzles for you to solve.
In the game, you’ll come across a total of seven puzzles spread all over the manor. Each of these puzzles contributes to the last big challenge that unlocks a safe consisting of exciting rewards, including $1000, the “The Puzzles, Mason” achievement, and the Case Cracker melee blueprint. Although the rewards sound attractive, the puzzles are the stars of the show.
Completing The Basement Generator Puzzle
To kickstart the puzzles, players are required to fix the boiler present in the basement and turn the generator on. You’ll find the basement and the room on the right side of the front door as soon as you enter the safe house. Players will have to interact with certain handles in the proper sequence to activate the generator present in the basement. Here are the steps involved:
- Head over to the basement and go into the Generator room.
- Turn the Boiler wheel until the water stops.
- Turn the Fuel valve present on your left till it’s half-full (just below the red area).
- Move to the Pilot valve on the right side to turn the generator on.
- Head to the left and turn the Boiler valve to 100. Interact with it once again.
If everything is done correctly, you’ll hear a bell ringing, after which you cannot interact with the Generator again. This means that it is now active, and you can head over to the next puzzle.
Completing The Piano Puzzle
Following the first puzzle, go to the piano situated close to the kitchen in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 safe house. You’ll see a Blacklight you’re required to interact with on the coffee table next to the piano. Players can use this tool to reveal hidden messages and patterns present in the safe house and during different types of missions. Here are the steps involved in this puzzle:
- Use the blacklight to find the piano sequence marked on the safe house walls.
- Head over to the piano.
- Turn on the blacklight.
- Play the symbol sequence directly from the wall in order: Mn, Pr, Cn, Ao, and Pe.
- If you’ve followed the steps properly, you’ll see a secret door open next to the piano.
Completing The Basement Keypad Puzzle
Once you’ve solved the Piano puzzle to find the secret door, go to the basement and head move the hallway till you come across a four-way intersection. Head to the right. You’ll see a locked door that requires a five-digit code to unlock. Once you interact with it, use the blacklight to see smudged fingerprints on the keys, revealing what numbers were often pressed.
- Click on the numbers revealed by the fingerprints.
- It doesn’t matter if you enter the right numbers in the wrong order since they’ll still be recorded.
- If a digit is entered in the proper position, it’ll be marked as Correct. However, if the number is correct but entered in the wrong order, it’ll be marked as Wrong Location.
- On the other hand, once you enter an incorrect number, it’ll be shown as Not Used.
