Marvel Rivals Season 2 has introduced a plethora of content and features to the game. One of the new features allows players to gift costumes to their friends. How To Gift Skins To Someone In Marvel Rivals?
You can gift skins in Marvel Rivals by heading to the in-game Store, where you’ll come across bundles of various costumes for the heroes and villains featured in the roster. Most of these bundles have stayed in the game since the beginning of Marvel Rivals Season 0. Once you find the skin bundle you want to gift someone, here are some steps you must follow to finish the process:
- Click on a Skin Bundle from the Marvel Rivals store.
- Select the “Gift” option present on the right side of the price tag.
- Pick the person you want to gift it to from the in-game friends list.
- Write a note on the Gift page alongside the Skin Bundle.
- Click on the price option to confirm the Gift.
- Send the Gift to the chosen friend.
Before gifting someone, make sure that your account is at least Level 10, which you can easily do by boosting your challenges in the game. Once you’ve sent a Gift to someone, they can head to their Mailbox (click on the icon on the screen’s top right corner) to check the Bundle they received. Unfortunately, there are still some restrictions on what you can gift to your friends.
What To Gift Other Players In Marvel Rivals?
Some of the limitations include you not being able to gift skins belonging to the Luxury and free category of the Season 2 Battle Pass. Players also can’t gift costumes that they received as rewards from in-game events or by achieving a Competitive milestone. However, the biggest obstacle is that you are only required to spend Lattice on Gifts and not Units in the hero shooter.
You can earn the Lattice currency in the game, but it’s rare compared to Chrono Tokens or Units. This means that you’ll be forced to spend actual money. However, you can boost your rank in the game to get your hands on a higher rank and some exclusive rewards. There are a couple of more restrictions, with one of them being that you can’t refund Gifts sent to someone.
On top of this, you can only purchase five Skin Bundles as Gifts in a day, and you can’t gift something that isn’t already featured in the in-game Store.
