What’s New for Ranked This Season (Reloaded Update)
The Season 5 Reloaded update, which went live on August 20, 2026, introduced a separate Call of Duty: Warzone Ranked Series event. This new event uses 50-player leaderboards and offers Emblems and Weapon Camos across all Ranks, along with a Weapon Charm and Large Decal for players who earn Ranked wins.
It is separate from the standard Season 5 Resurgence Ranked reward track covered below. Ranked restrictions also received several updates during the season.
The August 12 update added the Mammoth LMG, M1 Garand Conversion, AR Hawk .50 Cal Conversion, and Thermal Reflex to the Ranked restricted list.

Your Skill Division in Warzone Ranked Play is determined by your total Skill Rating (SR). As you earn more SR, you progress through higher divisions, with Iridescent and Top 250 representing the highest tiers.

What’s the SR requirement for Iridescent? You need 10,000 SR to reach Iridescent. After that, Top 250 isn’t tied to a single fixed SR threshold; it is determined by the live leaderboard, meaning the required SR can change as other players climb.
How to Qualify and Climb Fastest
To qualify for Ranked Play: Warzone Season 5 Resurgence, you need to complete 20 qualifying placements: finish Top 15 in Battle Royale or Top 6 in Resurgence. Once qualified, climbing the ladder is less about chasing kills and more about consistently surviving long enough to earn strong placement SR.

Your net SR gain depends heavily on placement milestones, while a Deployment Fee is deducted from Silver onward. This means dying early can erase much of the progress from a few eliminations.
