Playing ARC Raiders is not for the weak of heart. This multiplayer extraction adventure title is set in a futuristic world filled with mechanical threats and killer machines known as ARCs. Six-legged Bastions, lethal drones, and swarms of Ticks are only some of the machine enemies you will have to combat in this game.
Fortunately for ARC Raiders gamers, all these enemies have their respective weaknesses, too. Once you can get the hang of them, you should be able to breeze through these Arc Raiders enemy types easily.
ARC Machine Enemy Types and Weaknesses
Bombardier
First of the Arc Raiders enemy types, Bombardiers are heavy ARCs that are supported by two Spotter drones. The way to beat these is to target their yellow kneecaps to slow them down and expose their weak points. You can also aim for their rear cylinder to disable them efficiently. Start by taking out the Spotters so the Bombardiers have trouble targeting you.
Leaper
This arachnid machine is known for leaping long distances to attack its prey, you, and their one weakness is their cooldown period. Attack these brutes when they are recovering from leaps and otherwise avoid their shockwaves.
Pop
Pops are miniature rolling ARCs that need to be destroyed before they detonate. Try to create as much distance as you can from these.
Rocketeer
These artillery ARCs are huge in size and can fly, so dodge their attacks and use Lure Grenades. You can buy materials for sale to instantly get all the resources you need to optimize your loadout. Target the rocketeer’s thrusters to take it down.
Snitch
Luckily, these drones are unarmed. Destroying their thrusters usually works as their weak point.
Queen
Queens are massive machines that usually guard Harvesters during specific events. Good teamwork is key to defeating these. Work together as a group to hit these ARCs when they are in the line of fire.
Shredder
Shredders are found at Stella Montis, and you can beat them by avoiding their four-round pellet strike. Hence, keep your distance from these bad boys, as they can be quite fatal to interact with in narrow corridors
Hornet
These tiny drones can be beaten by targeting their front or rear thrusters. Pushing them off heights also works.
Fireball
As the name suggests, these ARCs spew flames. Shoot them in their exposed core when their front panel opens to destroy them.
Bastion
These ARCs are slow; target their leg joints or rear canister first, then attack their unarmored real barrel to do some real damage.
Tick
Small but deadly. They are easy to kill individually. Shoot them with your gun before they latch onto you.
Wasp
These small drones have low-damage guns. You can aim for their thrusters to drop them, and dodge to avoid their attack.
Comet
These rolling explosive mechanical beings need their armor forced open and their weak point exposed for you to take them down. You should use automatic weapons to shoot their armor and spread out so they cannot take your entire team down.
Firefly
Fireflies are flamethrowers that can fly. If you spot them in an open arena, take cover. Shooting their gas tank makes them explode.
Matriarch
Deadlier than Queens, these ARCs can be attacked when their energy shield drops. Use long-range weapons for maximum impact. You can buy weapons for sale to maximize your chances of taking these down.
ARC Surveyor
These sphere-shaped machines can be destroyed by shooting their exposed core when they are mid-scan.
Conclusion
ARC Raiders features a wide variety of machine enemies. But these can be easily taken down if you know their weaknesses and can work well with your teammates. Dodge attacks and take cover until these ARCs give you the right opportunity to take them down.
