These dates are based on early posters as well as leaks from reputable sources. You should also consider that Activision hasn’t dropped a confirmation yet, it matches up with past timelines. Black Ops 6 pre orders also went live the same day it was revealed.

What We Know So Far

Popular stores have begun receiving advertising posters. Some platforms say they’re directly connected to Black Ops 7 pre orders. If so, fans can receive exclusive physical posters as rewards when they pre order Black Ops 7. This only holds true for physical copies so far. 

There is no announced bonus for digital pre orders yet. Nevertheless, going by the past titles, we may anticipate in-game rewards and early access to the beta. Black Ops 7 pre order is already trending across many forums. The excitement is building up and players are preparing to lock in their versions early. 

Digital storefronts like Xbox and Battle.net will likely activate listings right after the full trailer drops, expected again within June.

Activision is being cautious this year. Black Ops 7 was announced with a cinematic trailer but not gameplay. That’s not typical. It fits, though, with Microsoft’s recent trend of staggering reveals and pre orders over two events. It also follows the same timeline as Black Ops 6. 

This game revealed its pre order, reveal, and Vault rewards on June 9, 2024. Black Ops 7 is following suit, just one year later, on June 20. Leaks indicate that the next trailer will announce the final release date. Currently, we only know it is happening later in 2025. Most likely Q4, maybe November, as with most big Call of Duty releases.

Multiplayer and Zombies Confirmed

This is not a campaign-only endeavor. Black Ops 7 reintroduces round-based Zombies. Multiplayer maps will be new, and a new co-op campaign experience. A glimpse at Warzone in the teaser also teases that it might connect to the next big update of the battle royale. This might be the beginning of a new chapter for Call of Duty’s shared ecosystem. Activision’s silence on platform support has raised a few eyebrows. 

But internal sources confirm the game is launching across Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PC, and even last-gen consoles. PS4 and Xbox One players aren’t left out yet.
