Black Ops 7 Pre Order Details - See The Dates

Recently, we heard the official announcement for the Black Ops 7 release. And, it’s coming this year. With all this release news, most COD fans are asking about its early access and pre orders. Activision finally gave fans a teaser during the Xbox Games Showcase on June 8, 2025. Also, the official Black Ops 7 pre order campaign began June 20, 2025.

These dates are based on early posters as well as leaks from reputable sources. You should also consider that Activision hasn’t dropped a confirmation yet, it matches up with past timelines. Black Ops 6 pre orders also went live the same day it was revealed.

What We Know So Far

Treyarch and Raven Software are at it again. This time, Black Ops 7 takes place in 2035 which is a continuation of Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6’s events. Back to Mason, the addition of Raul Menendez, and a Black Ops familiar feel indicate this will be a huge chapter.

It’s not only the characters getting a return. Posters and teaser artwork revealed that June 20 is the pre order time. The fans saw this date in previous game time lines, Black Ops 2’s ‘Cordis Die’ to be exact. It’s appearing once again in Black Ops 7 artwork. And, it’s hard to point it out as a coincidence.

Black Ops 7 Pre Order Date and Poster Leaks

Popular stores have begun receiving advertising posters. Some platforms say they’re directly connected to Black Ops 7 pre orders. If so, fans can receive exclusive physical posters as rewards when they pre order Black Ops 7. This only holds true for physical copies so far.

There is no announced bonus for digital pre orders yet. Nevertheless, going by the past titles, we may anticipate in-game rewards and early access to the beta. Black Ops 7 pre order is already trending across many forums. The excitement is building up and players are preparing to lock in their versions early.

Digital storefronts like Xbox and Battle.net will likely activate listings right after the full trailer drops, expected again within June.

Expected Editions and Rewards

Expected Editions and Rewards

Activision typically releases two pre order levels. The standard edition and the Vault Edition. Black Ops 6’s Vault Edition featured Blackcell access, Operator skins, and Mastercraft bundles. We anticipate that Black Ops 7 will use the same template.

Since Microsoft is increasing first-party pricing, Black Ops 7 should also be priced at $80 for the base version. Vault Edition should increase to $110. That’s $10 more than last year’s. That mirrors a wider trend across AAA games, like Outer Worlds 2 and Mario Kart World. Though reward specifics are not known, we expect early access to beta, special Operator skins, and additional weapon blueprints. Vault purchasers could receive an entire season of free Blackcell content, along with a Mastercraft or two.

Timeline and Reveal Strategy

Activision is being cautious this year. Black Ops 7 was announced with a cinematic trailer but not gameplay. That’s not typical. It fits, though, with Microsoft’s recent trend of staggering reveals and pre orders over two events. It also follows the same timeline as Black Ops 6.

This game revealed its pre order, reveal, and Vault rewards on June 9, 2024. Black Ops 7 is following suit, just one year later, on June 20. Leaks indicate that the next trailer will announce the final release date. Currently, we only know it is happening later in 2025. Most likely Q4, maybe November, as with most big Call of Duty releases.

Multiplayer and Zombies Confirmed

This is not a campaign-only endeavor. Black Ops 7 reintroduces round-based Zombies. Multiplayer maps will be new, and a new co-op campaign experience. A glimpse at Warzone in the teaser also teases that it might connect to the next big update of the battle royale. This might be the beginning of a new chapter for Call of Duty’s shared ecosystem. Activision’s silence on platform support has raised a few eyebrows.

But internal sources confirm the game is launching across Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PC, and even last-gen consoles. PS4 and Xbox One players aren’t left out yet.
