BO7 Dark Ops challenges are hidden objectives that only reveal their requirements after you complete them. Unlike regular missions or tracked challenges, they test specific feats across the Co-Op Campaign, Endgame, Multiplayer, and Zombies.

Completing one unlocks a rare Calling Card, while the Master challenges require several Dark Ops completions within the same mode. New seasonal maps and activities have also added more objectives since launch, so the list is larger than it was in December 2025.

Campaign Dark Ops Challenges

The Co-Op Campaign list combines traditional story-mission objectives with longer Endgame accomplishments. Some can be completed in a single mission, while others require repeated Zone IV escapes, world events, boss fights, or seasonal Endgame activities.

Off-Meta	Complete Root Crasher without any player using the Crash Car or Ballistic Shield abilities.
Stationary Stalwart	Capture the opening Root Crasher zones without being downed or stepping outside the zones.
Elusive	Defeat the Link Forger Glitch boss without being stunned.
Single-Threaded	Complete the Link Forger Glitch as a solo player.
Go Fetch	During the Link Forger Glitch, destroy a D.A.W.G. shield with equipment thrown back from the D.A.W.G.

Campaign Dark Ops Tips

Mission-specific objectives are easiest to retry from a nearby checkpoint. Restart immediately after taking damage during Green Thumb or accidentally using the wrong weapon during Absolute Loss.

For Endgame objectives, build a reliable Operator loadout before entering Zone IV. Dream Team, Overpowered, and Pest Control take much longer than one-session mission challenges, so treat them as long-term goals rather than trying to finish everything in one run.

Multiplayer Dark Ops Challenges

Multiplayer Dark Ops focus on rapid-kill medals, Nuclear streaks, objective control, unusual equipment kills, weapon progression, and long-term elimination totals.

Mega Killer	Get six rapid kills without dying.
Ultra Killer	Get seven rapid kills without dying.
Chain Killer	Earn a Kill Chain medal by extending a rapid multi-kill beyond Ultra Killer.
Relentless Killer	Earn a Relentless medal by reaching a 20-kill streak.
Brutal Killer	Earn a Brutal medal by reaching a 25-kill streak.
Nuclear Killer	Earn a Nuclear medal with 30 weapon, equipment, or Field Upgrade kills without dying. Scorestreak kills do not count toward the streak.
Very Nuclear	Earn a Nuke with 25 different weapons.
Gift Horse	Kill an enemy with a Scorestreak stolen from that enemy’s Care Package.
Reverse Card	Eliminate an enemy with the explosion caused by shooting their Equipment or Field Upgrade.
Pushing the Limits	Unlock every Overclock for 40 different items.
Same Day Delivery	Get at least two kills with one Body Shield explosion.
Trip Cap	Control all three Domination objectives continuously for three minutes.
Nuked Out	Earn a Nuke in Free-for-All without using Scorestreaks.
Touch Grass	Reach Weapon Prestige Master Max Level with 30 weapons.
100K	Earn 100,000 Multiplayer eliminations.
Multiplayer Dark Ops Master	Complete 15 different Multiplayer Dark Ops challenges.
Best of the First	Earn 1,000 Multiplayer eliminations during the BO7 beta. This was a limited challenge and can no longer be completed.

Easiest Multiplayer Challenges to Start With

Circus Act, Reverse Card, Gift Horse, and Same Day Delivery depend on unusual situations, but they do not require a long streak. However, Castled and Trip Cap are more reliable with teammates who are willing to hold the objective rather than rotate around the map.

The rapid-kill and Nuclear challenges are easier in modes with predictable spawns. Therefore, avoid relying heavily on Scorestreak damage when attempting Nuclear Killer or Nuked Out because their requirements specifically limit Scorestreak use.

Zombies Dark Ops Challenges

Official Zombies mode Dark Ops include round milestones, Mystery Box tasks, Crew Operator eliminations, Relic combinations, main-quest completions, seasonal maps, Dead Ops Arcade, and long-term kill totals.

The Zombies list has expanded considerably since launch through Ashes of the Damned, Astra Malorum, Paradox Junction, and later seasonal content.

Astronomical	Complete the Astra Malorum main quest with Spider Fang, Civil Protector Head, and Golden Spork active.
Flushed for Cash	Earn 25 million in Silverback Cash.
Echoes	Complete the Echoes of the Damned side quest.
Reliquary	Collect every Ashes of the Damned Relic.
Martial Artist	Reach Round 50 using only melee weapons and Combat Axes.
Mythic Cynic	Reach Round 50 with every Ashes of the Damned Relic active.
Blitzed	Complete the Ashes of the Damned main quest with Samantha’s Drawing and Teddy Bear active within one hour.
Relativity	Complete the Paradox Junction main quest in under one hour.
Chronomancer	Complete the Paradox Junction main quest without paying to time travel.
The Bomba	Complete the Paradox Junction main quest with every Mantis Relic active.

Start with objectives that fit into ordinary progression:

Move into Relic and main-quest challenges after learning each map. Ingenuity, Hard Mode, Blitzed, Astronomical, The Bomba, and Mythic Cynic are much easier when every player already understands the relevant quest steps and Relic restrictions.

Anathema, New Main, and The One are long-term goals. Trying to grind them before completing the easier mastery requirements is inefficient because Zombies Dark Ops Master only needs 15 completed challenges.

How Dark Ops Master Challenges Work

Each mode has its own completion threshold. You do not need every challenge in a category to earn its Master Calling Card.

• Co-Op Campaign Dark Ops Master: Complete eight Campaign Dark Ops challenges.
• Multiplayer Dark Ops Master: Complete 15 Multiplayer Dark Ops challenges.
• Zombies Dark Ops Master: Complete 15 Zombies Dark Ops challenges.

Limited beta challenges can remain visible in historical lists even though new players cannot unlock them. Permanent Master requirements can still be completed through the currently available challenges.

Where to Find Dark Ops Calling Cards

When a Dark Ops challenge is completed, the game displays a notification and reveals the associated reward.

To view your unlocked Calling Cards:

1. Open the Career menu.
2. Select Challenges.
3. Open the Dark Ops category.
4. Choose the unlocked Calling Card.
5. Equip it directly or add it to your profile showcase.

Dark Ops requirements generally stay hidden until completion, so seeing a classified slot does not always reveal which objective is missing.

Are BO7 Dark Ops challenges visible before completion?

No. Their names and requirements remain hidden in the game until you complete them, although community discoveries make it possible to target specific objectives in advance.

Do Dark Ops challenges reward XP?

Their main rewards are exclusive Calling Cards. Some completions may also contribute to wider progression, but the Calling Card is the defining reward.

Do you need every Dark Ops challenge for the Master reward?

No. Campaign requires eight completions, while Multiplayer and Zombies each require 15.

Can the beta Dark Ops challenges still be completed?

Start with objectives that naturally overlap with your normal play, then build dedicated loadouts and squads for the hardest Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies requirements. The lists can continue growing as new seasonal content arrives, so map-specific challenges should be checked again after major updates.

Double XP does not complete a Dark Ops requirement by itself, but it can support the weapon and account progression needed for challenges such as Pushing the Limits and Touch Grass.
