Can You Gift Skins In Valorant?5 min read

Valorant players have been waiting for this feature for years, and now it’s available to all the players. The answer to your question about can you gift skins in Valorant, is now a feature added by Riot. Luckily, they rolled out a gifting system in patch 10.08. This new gifting system in Valorant allows you to send selected cosmetic items to your friends. However, they also put some restrictions to it that you should know. Otherwise, you won’t be able to gift items in the game.
How Valorant Gifting Works

First of all, you need to visit the in-game Valorant store to send your gift to your in-game friends. After all, you need to select and purchase the item that you wish to gift.
When selecting the items, there are two options now. You can either purchase it for yourself or you’ll see a “Gift” option. Click this gift option and now choose a friend from your list. Once done with the selection, you can now confirm your purchase. That’s it. The selected item will appear in their gift inbox.
Your friend will receive a gift message. Now they have 3 options:
- Accept the gift
- Reject the gift
- Leave it as it is
If accepted, the item goes straight to their collection. If rejected, the Valorant Points (VP) return to your account. When no action is taken for 60 days, Riot automatically refunds you.
Requirements to Send and Receive Gifts
Before you can send or receive gifts in Valorant, both accounts must meet these conditions:
- Your account must be level 15 or higher.
- You and your friend must be on each other’s friend lists for at least 7 days.
- Both accounts must be in the same region and on the same game shard.
Also, gifting is limited to five items per day. You can’t send a gift someone already owns, and you can only gift content from the featured store bundles, not items in the daily rotation.
What Skins Can You Gift?

As of now, the system only supports items from featured bundles. That includes full bundles and individual skins within those bundles. Riot plans to expand gifting to include more cosmetics like sprays, player cards, and more in future updates. But for now, your choices are limited.
Valorant Accounts with Skins as Gifts
If you’re looking to gift someone a Valorant account stacked with rare skins, that’s also possible. MitchCactus offer Valorant Accounts for Sale that include exclusive bundles, rare skins, and ranked-ready profiles. These accounts are fully verified, come with full access, and are instantly delivered upon purchase. They make a great gift for players who want to skip the grind and start with a stacked inventory.
You’ll find accounts loaded with rare skins. You can gift these accounts directly to friends, letting them jump into Valorant with a dream setup from the start.
Can You Get a Refund for Gifted Items?

Only under certain conditions. If your friend accepts the gift, the VP is gone. There’s no refund option after acceptance. However, if the gift is rejected or not accepted within 60 days, the full VP returns to you. Riot also considers refunds in rare cases involving legal or account security issues, but those require a support ticket.
Region and Server Limitations
One of the biggest challenges in the gifting process is region-locking. Both sender and receiver need to be on the same server and game shard. For instance, players in Southeast Asia can only send gifts to other SEA players. The same applies to users in Turkey, Russia, Iran, and other restricted locations.
If gifting doesn’t work despite meeting all other requirements, the server mismatch is likely the issue. Make sure you and your friend play on the same shard to avoid problems.
Why Can’t You Gift Skins from Daily Offers?
As of now, gifting is only allowed for items in the featured store. Daily rotating items are excluded. Riot hasn’t provided a full explanation, but the likely reason is backend limitations or fraud prevention. Community feedback is mixed, with many players hoping Riot expands this feature soon.
Valorant Gifting
The new gifting feature in Valorant is a strong start, even if it’s limited. It allows players to share their favorite skins and support friends with new gear. If you’ve ever wanted to surprise a teammate or celebrate a ranked win, now you finally can.
Just remember to check your region, meet the account requirements, and only send items from featured bundles. If you’re looking to go bigger, gift Valorant account with rare skins is another powerful option. Instead of gifting little things, you can get this account for your friend. All packed with exclusive skins and smurfs.
