Steps To Complete Shattered Veil Easter Egg Quest

Step 1. Open the Pack-a-Punch

Reach Round 10 and begin unlocking the mansion.

• Kill a zombie in the Library to get the Fuse.
• Head to the Director’s Quarters. Shoot Richtofen’s PC for a circuit board.
• Repair the elevator from the back and ride it down.
• Clear the horde and zipline to the Mainframe Chamber.

Step 2. Get the Free Ray Gun Mark II

• Go to the Service Tunnel or Mainframe Chamber and kill a Lab Tech Zombie.
• Collect the golden floppy disk and insert it in the fax machine near the T-Rex.
• Defend it. When it prints the paper, extract the four-letter word.
• Go to the Nursery Room Chalkboard.
• Translate each letter into a number based on how many letters are in that group.
• Enter the code in the Service Tunnel keypad.
• Kill the Doppelgast, take the arm, and use it at the Armory keypad.

Step 3. Ray Gun MK2 R Canister

• Get a Kazimir Grenade. Craft it or find it near the armor wall.
• Throw it at the barrier behind Double Tap to suck in the canister.

Step 4. Ray Gun MK2 W Canister

• Find and shoot blue crystals around the map. Only one drops a canister:
  • Conservatory
  • East Foyer ceiling
  • Southwest Balcony
  • Service Tunnel ceiling

Step 5. Ray Gun MK2 P Canister

• Get Combat Axes from spawn, Nursery, or Crafting Table.
• Throw axes at Valves A and B depending on the Mainframe marking.
• Use a Molotov to break the glass and release the canister.

Step 6. Complete MK2 R Quest

• Collect four seeds by blowing up Dark Aether plants.
• Plant them one at a time in the Conservatory planters.
• Defend each until they grow. Don’t try to defend all at once.
• Craft Toxic Canister and upgrade to MK2 R.
• Charge the Library portal by killing zombies with the MK2 R.
• Enter the Liminal Library.
• Use Aether Shroud to collect ID badge, Audio Log, and Ledger from fireplaces and desks.
• Activate glowing books in the correct order.
• Open secret door. Retrieve Nuclear Inspection Report.
• Start boss with MK2 R.

Step 7. Complete MK2 P Quest

• Use LT53 Kazimir to pull canister from Rear Patio.
• Get Reflectors from Conservatory and Southwest Balcony fountains.
• Get Essence Bomb from JANUS crates.
• Blow up rocks in Service Tunnel.
• Place canister inside secret chamber and complete mirror puzzle.
• Kill three Doppelgasts.
• Craft Light Canister and upgrade to MK2 P.
• Charge Banquet Hall portal with MK2 P.
• Enter Liminal Chamber, find Ritual Elixir.
• Interact with blood cups and kill Elder Disciples.
• Find safe code from symbols on portraits.
• Open safe in West Hallway for antler carving.
• Start boss with MK2 P.

Step 8. Complete MK2 W Quest

• Shoot crystals to get the canister.
• Place it in Shems Henge.
• Lure Abomination to charge rocks with lasers and slams.
• Defend the siphon. Retrieve explosive canister.
• Craft MK2 W.
• Get the sconce near Banquet Hall. Use it to start Simon Says in Grand Foyer.
• Complete puzzle to unlock Distillery.
• Collect Brain Rot and Bell.
• Use Bell at Overlook Bar.
• Brain rot zombie drops Flask.
• Start boss with MK2 W.

Step 9. Final Preparation for the Boss Fight

• Pack-a-Punch MK2 W to Tier 3.
• Bring Chopper Gunner, Aether Shroud, Perk-a-Colas, and Tier 3 Armor.
• Head to SAM AI platform in Mainframe Chamber.

Step 10. Beat the Z-Rex Boss

• Target eyes, ribs, and mouth for max damage.
• Avoid acid, lasers, and charges.
• Use Chopper Gunner in last phase if solo.
• Complete the final phase and finish the Shattered Veil Easter Egg.
